Product Description
An exquisite first-class toast rack from the pattern used in the first-class dining room on Olympic and Titanic. A crushed, identical version of this toast rack was recovered in dives to Titanic back in 2000. I really like the five pointed star on each foot. Quite a nice effect. This piece has our old friend the Maltese cross stamped on the handle. Made by Elkington and dated 1914. Maybe intended for Britannic? Super, rare, and likely to sell very quickly. In excellent condition. Measures 5¼” long and stands 5½” tall.
