Mid-century iconic polka dot table cloth set from the ss United States. Not only do they have style, but they are all marked “US Lines 52.” Made of beautiful linen and used on board for the afternoon tea service. Near mint condition as it has been stored since the auction in 1984 at the home of a wealthy collector in Norfolk, VA. Note the archival of the table cloth in use on “The Big Ship” during the maiden voyage. The table cloth measures about 52″ x 50.5″. Each of the 6 napkins measures about 23.5″ x 18.5″.
