Oh, to able to time travel. What most of us wouldn’t give to be able to go back and tour the ss United States with her interiors still totally intact. This pamphlet covers 14 stops on the official tour of the ship that was undertaken in order to promote the upcoming sale in the fall of 1984. Interestingly, the tours were put together by Cruise International travel agency. The president of the agency, Richard O’Leary, had begun his career on the Big U as a young officer. He recounts some interesting times attempting to use the temporary pool rigged up for cruises. Excellent condition.
