What an superb piece! Lots of people have furniture from the ss United States, but how many people can say they have the “captain’s” chair? Well, now you can! Fully marked on the bottom as coming from the Staff Captain’s Office. The chair is sturdy and ready to be used in your own office or ocean-liner memorabilia room. The upholstery is in excellent condition although there are a few small issues. The biggest is that there is a very small spot where one seam is coming apart. To fix this should be an easy repair for an experienced upholstery person. Although you don’t have to do anything to it at all as the split is minor. If you want photos of the other small condition issues, please send me an email. There can’t be many of these around!
