Product Description
After Normandie, the most beloved ship of the French Line fleet is a toss up in my opinion between the France of 1962 and the Ile. Like De Grasse, Ile received a post-war medallion of which this is an example. Various heraldic shields on one side; the other showing the post-war profile of the ship and a porthole. A fine medal from CGT. Uniquely signed and dated by the artist, Marcel Renard. In excellent condition.
