Product Description
12” silver serving tray from the ss United States made by International Silver and date marked 1952 from her maiden voyage. What makes this more interesting is it also has its matching fitted silver cover, also by International Silver and date coded 1952. Sometimes you see trays and sometimes you see covers but never a fitted and matched pair. These come to us direct from the auction in 1984. The previous owner had them for 40 years. Great condition.
