I would have loved to see the presentation that went along with serving grilled meats on these skewers. I’m assuming grilled? I might say roasted, perhaps. The charcoal grills used onboard the great liners suggest to me a nice presentation ceremony of a choice of grilled meats. I doubt it was Brazilian steakhouse style somehow, but I bet they would have put some class into the service I am sure. Oh, and cruise lines need to bring back charcoal grills on at least the most elegant ships of today! I know the mass-market lines won’t, but the flavor is so much better.
Relive a grander era with this skewer. Measures about 12″ long and made by Harrison brothers with a nice Aquitania-era Cunard logo.
