Product Description
Quite cute and beautifully made silver-plate ice bucket. Individual in size and likely for use in the cabins. I have also seen it on board in public rooms so these must have been handy given all the drinks made each day. Comes to us with a metalized sticker announcing loudly that it was sold on board the RMS Queen Elizabeth in her brief career in Florida. In the Pinewood pattern that was made for use on the Queens, this example is dated 1939 so it stayed with the QE for her whole career. It’s pretty rare to be able to say for certain what ship a piece of silver or china comes from. Measures about 6.5″ tall, including handle. In excellent condition and made, of course, by Elkington Plate.
