Product Description
The reed-and-star pattern of silver introduced on the RMS Olympic and RMS Titanic might be my favorite ocean-liner silver of all time. It has style, it has flair, it was there! — to paraphrase the theme song of the TV show The Nanny. This particular creamer is even more special than most as it is the cute and harder to find “small” size measuring about 4″ handle to spout and 3″ base to handle. It is, of course, made by Elkington Silver Company and rather intriguingly has a date code for 1915. I have seen this before over the years and have always openly speculated was this part of a large order for the RMS Britannic. Very good condition with a sharp and well-engraved flag. In general, an asset to any White Star Line collection.
