Product Description

Who would have thought that the Santa Rosa, after a long and interesting career, would be taken out of layup in 1978 and be used as a stand in for the RMS Titanic in the movie Raise the Titanic? This is a Van Ryper model of Grace Line’s Santa Rosa of 1932. Oddly, her two funnels were each different–a point which is well represented on the model. It is in excellent condition. The model was cherished by a collector all these years, and I was fortunate enough to buy his entire collection. Measures about 9″ long.
