Product Description
The old ships, of course, didn’t have your charges secured by a credit card or a way to link your purchases with your room key. Cash was king, and you settled up your bill at the end using receipts like this. Despite it saying “Wine Card,” this cards were used for all manner of things. All the paperwork that was necessary on the old liners is mind boggling to think of today. Sadly, so little of it survives. Probably identical to what was used on RMS Titanic.
