Product Description
A piece of coal that was salvaged from the wreck of the Cunarder Oregon in the early 1990s. When I was talking to the diver about his collection of Oregon items, I asked him if it was easy to find coal at the wreck site since she must have been carrying tons of the stuff. Somewhat surprisingly, he informed me that coal was quite hard to find. In fact, he had only ever found three pieces in all his years of diving her. This piece of coal measures about 2″ long and 1″ wide, and this is the first time I have ever sold coal from a liner. Perhaps a great stocking stuffer for a liner friend?
