Over the years, I have had a number of these special ss Normandie desk-top souvenirs. You can’t really call them common, in fact, they are quite difficult to find in this condition and size. Rare as hen’s teeth. This comes to us from the late dealer Ken Schultz and was featured in his catalog in the 1990s. If you remember Ken, then you will believe me when I say my prices are much lower today than his were in the 1980s! Don’t we all wish souvenirs (or for that matter most things in our modern life) were made with the quality of this Normandie display? It opens up as the superstructure comes off to store things like pens. Despite the flood of single-use plastics we are presented with daily, we can still own fine items crafted over 80 years ago. The model is on a wood base and is expertly crafted out of what I believe to be bronze. In excellent condition and very heavy! Measures about 12.5″ x 3.5″.
