Product Description
Van Ryper started his ship modeling business in 1933 in Martha’s Vineyard. The idea was straight forward–make handmade models in a very recognizable style. The name is famous, and the models are outstanding. But being 80-90 years old now, they are quite rare. This is a Van Ryper model of United States Line’s Manhattan of 1932. It is in excellent condition, having been cherished by a collector all these years. I was fortunate enough to buy his entire collection. Measures about 10″ long.
