Sugar bowl from the “Rue de la Paix of the Atlantic,” the stunning ss Ile de France. Something I love about French Line silver is that, as each new liner entered service, CGT designed a new bespoke silver service for use on board. This is wonderful for us collectors because it makes it very easy to determine what ship the piece came from unlike Cunard which used the same service throughout their fleet.
