An exceedingly rare brochure for the French Line ‘s fantastic Ile De France, the Paris, and the France. 24 pages with full-color, mostly full-page renderings, half for the new Ile, and the other half split between the France of 1912 and the Paris.
The brochure claims the walls of the Ile are poems of rare woods. I am sure it is true, and what a colorful way to put it. A really fantastic brochure that is nearly 100 years old. Even the end papers are cool with very Art Deco styling. Some chipping to the edge of covers and the center page has separated but otherwise quite nice.
