Product Description
Impressive Compagnie Generale Transatlantique house flag. This is the first time I have offered a French Line house flag, and what a flag it is! An absolute museum piece for one of you. I can say that because it was de-accessioned by a flag museum ages ago, and I have the inventory sheet to go with it. The oral history of the flag is that this is the final flag to fly from Liberté in New York before her final departure, and that’s how it ended up in the museum. Take that social media types who are constantly whinging “it belongs in a museum.” The flag is made of strong wool and is in excellent condition, measuring 3’8″ x 7’10”.
