There are three sizes of White Star cups and saucers, and in order of increasing size (and rarity), they are demi tasse, tea cups, and hot chocolate cups. This tea cup and saucer is an amazing example of rarely seen White Star china. This well-known turquoise-and-brown pattern was introduced on the Majestic and Teutonic when they entered service in 1889 and used by White Star until the end of the firm’s days.
If you already have a demi set, here is your chance to enhance your china collection with one of the rarest White Star cups and saucers you can get. The saucer measures about 5.5”, and cup is about 4” from handle to the front of the cup. This lovely cup and saucer is in excellent condition although there is overall crazing to the saucer.
