Product Description
Entry-into-service brochure for RMS Homeric from 1922. Never had another one like this. Shows amazing views, including such interesting scenes as the baker working in his kitchen and a greaser slapping the piston rods of her “mighty engines.” Things we would all kill to see photos of from the RMS Olympic! The brochure does a great job covering odd corners and interesting spots in the ship. It really showcases how she might have been completely outmatched on the Atlantic in size and speed, but Homeric really held her own in space and luxury. Runs 32 pages long and covers first-class and a bit of second. Center page has come out but is present.
