Georgic Passenger List, Trial Trip

WOW!  I have been collecting, interacting, and marveling at ocean-liner memorabilia for almost 40 years now, and I love it when I can say the following:  This is the first time I have seen or heard of one of these!

Part brochure and part passenger list for mv Georgic’s trial trip.  The last constructed White Star liner was getting a nice treatment that I am somewhat surprised to see, given the state of the world’s and, more particularly, White Star’s finances in the deepest depths of the depression in 1932.  A few interesting things about this brochure.  Under the cinema, it mentions a Pathé film to be screened called “Georgic Before Trials.”  I would love to get (or ever see) a copy of that!  Also, the passenger list is a who’s who of H&W, White Star, the shipping world, and even Olympic-class names (including Commodore C.A. Bartlett, who was in command of HMHS Britannic when she sank in 1916 and Commodore Sir Bertram Hayes!).  It also mentions the cabin number (even if the passenger ranked to a bath) and dining table number.  Quite an affair.  Mint!  FT
