I’d disagree with the sweeping statement, but I don’t disagree with the sentiment.
French Line brochure for a cruise of the ss France of 1912. This Mediterranean and Moroccan cruise was undertaken in 1929, and it must have been something since the CGT published this 75 page brochure! Including 17 pages about the ship herself. Interestingly, this is the second French Line brochure with a printing error I have in this update. One page still half bound together. You could cut it open (use a very sharp knife) or do as it has for nearly 100 years and leave it as is.
