Product Description
Two names stand out when it comes to ocean liner models. One of them is Van Ryper, and the models are in great demand by collectors. The name is famous, and the models are outstanding. This is a Van Ryper model of NDL’s impressive ss Europa of 1930. She, of course, went on to a long life as both Europa and later ss Liberte for the French Line. This longevity was despite the fact she sank twice and burnt twice! I’m not sure if I can think of another liner that went through so much. In very good condition with some slight discoloring to the white paint and a tiny chip of paint here and there. Measures about 10.5″ long. AC
