Product Description
Exquisite five-lobed oyster dish from Cunard’s pre-WWI service. This pattern was famously used on board in both first and second class and pieces of this pattern have been salvaged from the RMS Lusitania and RMS Carpathia. See archival photo for this pattern in use on Lusitania. One of the reasons this pattern displays so well is the top-marked logo. After World War I, Cunard stopped top marking their china. Made by Mintons and in good condition with some age crazing. No chips or cracks. Measures about 8.5″ across.
