Product Description
If you are interested in ocean-liner postcards (in particular, pre-WWI Edwardian England ocean-liner postcards) then Raphael Tuck should be at the top of your list for desirability and rarity. While they produced cards for many years, they are tough to source today. Mailed from the liner, the message is from a teacher to her student and mentions that, since she was the only student to see her off, she gets the first ocean liner postcard! The stamp is gone, but it is still marked “Paquebot.”
