Product Description
One of the most iconic ashtrays used by any ocean-liner company. The only one that might be better known is the ss France funnel ashtray. Known throughout the collecting world as a “toilet” ashtray given its shape, this style was introduced on board the RMS Queen Mary at the time of her maiden voyage. It also was produced as a souvenir to be sold on board (marked souvenir on the bottom), but happily this is the in-service version. These came in two sizes, and this is the larger of the two, measuring about 6″ x 7″. Aside from some tiny chips here and there, this is in great condition.
