Wouldn’t you like to browse through the gift shop on the RMS Queen Mary? Ashtrays like this were popular souvenirs. So often, the butterfly wings that were used to make these items seem to “evaporate,” i.e. the iridescence sadly dissipates over time. Of course, condition is key, and this souvenir ashtray is in excellent condition. In fact, it’s mint and displays much brilliance in the wings. Sold in the onboard gift shops and highly desirable. Measures about 3½” in diameter.
