Product Description
Another of those items I am very proud to offer my customers. This one-of-a-kind item is a ceramic panel from the first-class Bar on board the ill-fated Andrea Doria. Created by Romano Rui, the panel was salvaged in the early 1990s. On this trip, the diver was looking for china and happened to come across this while digging through the mud and visibility was silted out. He felt something flat, pulled it out of the mud, and this was the result! Talk about a find! Panel measures about 1.5 feet by 1 foot. Only a precious few panels from this art series have been recovered, but all are jealously guarded by the divers who retrieved them. This is the only salvaged art from the Doria to ever come onto the market. For one of you an absolutely amazing opportunity!
