Product Description
Very fine tissue deck plan for the RMS Georgic of 1932. As you know, she was the last White Star Liner constructed. Dated March, 1932, the plan measures about 34″ x 22″ and is in excellent condition with one small hole at a fold and a bit of discoloration on the front.
I have often daydreamed that it would have worked out better on all fronts had Britannic been the ship bombed so effectively in 1942 and not the MV Georgic (well not for those poor souls on board). Georgic, being so forward looking in design and decor especially for the world of 1932, was really much more suited to be integrated into the new Cunard White Star Line fleet than any ship in either company preceding the merger.
