Product Description
A Cunard White Star Line lapel pin sold in the on-board gift shops of this the famous last-sailing ship of the White Star Line fleet, which dates to the 1950s. I have often wondered why the Cunard Line never built another motor vessel, always opting for turbines. RMS Britannic gave great service and sipped fuel oil compared to her similarly sized fleet mates. She burned about 90 tons a day versus Queen Mary’s 1050 tons a day! Measures about a 1″ in diameter and in excellent condition.
