This souvenir tea set from the Cunard Line was once much more common. Like so many things in life, you might say to yourself about a particular memory “that wasn’t that long ago,” and then you realize the memory is 30 years old. Well, one can now say that about the 1990s!
Excellent condition and never that easy to obtain when looking for the entire set. Here is Cunard’s chocolate-brown glazed tea set. Sold in the on-board gift shops, it comes with tea pot, hot water jug (with a lid, interestingly), a hot water jug (without a lid), creamer, sugar, and waste dish. In the famous “cube” pattern Cunard was so fond of and as sold on the RMS Queen Mary and RMS Queen Elizabeth. Made by George Clews in England and sourced by good ol’ Stoniers and Co.
