When outfitting the famous ss Normandie, the French Line paid careful attention to the details of dining. You can see this attention to detail in this magnificent oyster plate. Designed by the famous Jean Luce, it is in excellent condition, measuring about 10″ in diameter. As much as I’d like to experience service in first class on the Normandie (and I’m sure it was beyond excellent), I personally just don’t like oysters! That notwithstanding, improve your collection with this beautiful serving piece.
