Product Description
Van Ryper started his ship-modeling business in 1933 in Martha’s Vineyard. The idea was straight forward — make handmade models in a very recognizable style. The name is famous, and the models are outstanding. But being 80-90 years old now, they are quite rare. This is a Van Ryper model of Canadian Pacific Line’s RMS Empress of Britain of 1930. It is in very good condition with some fading to the name at bows. The model was cherished by a collector all these years. I was fortunate enough to buy his entire collection. Measures about 10″ long.
