Formerly the NDL liner, Europa, CGT’s ss Liberte was taken over by the French Line after the war and completely gutted and redecorated. Despite several mishaps during her refit, she finally made her maiden voyage in 1950 and was eventually laid up in 1962. This is a pre maiden voyage brochure dating to early 195o.
This brochure covers all three classes on board and runs 36 pages with 50 images. ss Liberte was the post war flagship of the French Line and their pride really shows in this extensive brochure.
