Product Description
Now is the time to enhance your ocean-liner collection with this beautiful bone-china White Star Line demi-tasse cup and saucer. Just think of the craftsmanship in this set. Hand made china that was glazed, fired, had brown decals applied by hand, fired, gold leafed, hand-painted flag added, turquoise “tongues” applied (again by hand), then fired again! Making china like this today would cost a mint! Excellent condition other than a small hairline in the cup and a tiny fleabite out of its rim. The cup is dated 5/1906.
