Product Description
One of the saddest items I have offered. As many of you know, Cunard’s Caronia is among my top three favorite liners ever built. Writen and released by Caronia Enterprises, Inc., this press release announces the sale of the liner’s fittings. As the release says: “A sale of more than one million items of elegant nostalgia heralding the end of an era will take place aboard the S.S. Caribia nee the RMS Caronia on February 13.” The end of an era indeed! The press release runs three pages. If only I could go back in time and attend the auction with a pocket full of cash! JF
