A smart aspect from the get-go was Italia realized they had built a perfect cruise ship with the Andrea Doria. She was fully air-conditioned, sported outdoor pools, and was small enough to get into ports the huge ships couldn’t consider. Thus her maiden voyage was a winter cruise and likely far better sold than a deep winter crossing would have been. This is a program of events from that famous ships’s first outing. In very good condition having once been folded but has been flatted for so long now it really does not detract. MO
