Product Description
One of the rarest Lusitania items I have ever sold. The gold-washed Goetz medal presented to the then Prince of Wales (later King Edward VIII) and kept by him until his death in 1972. This was then sold by the estate of the Duchess of Windsor via Sotheby’s in February, 1998. after her death and purchased by the late memorabilia dealer Ken Schultz, who offered it in one of his catalogues. Beautifully framed and ready to hang on your wall as the centerpiece for your Lusitania collection. Need I say that it is of museum quality?
