Here is a French Line oddity. An Independence Day menu from the ss Normandie’s first months of operation. Must be a first-class menu due to the gastronomic delights of the offerings. Trust me when I say that CGT was warding off any chance of malnutrition here! That’s not what is so interesting, however. The inside is oddly printed upside down. The cover and interiors are flipped! Printed on board in the printers’ shop, never seen another, and there can’t be many of these around. JF
