A pair of cardboard signs from the ss United States reminding passengers to leave their stateroom keys in their cabin upon disembarkation and to have their baggage and trunks ready for removal before arrival in Southampton and Le Havre. These come from the estate of the late Dr. Sarah Forbes, the largest bidder and purchaser at the Big U auction in 1984. These would be a fun and unusual addition to any ss United States collection. Some slightly bumped corners and measures about 11″ x 8.5″.
