Product Description
A program for a gala charity fete held on board the Normandie at sea on August 29, 1936. This was “for the benefit of the several benevolent institution of which the Cie. Gle. Transatlantique is patron.” Much larger than a typical fold-over program, the is more the size of a menu. This went on for hours, starting at 10 pm in the Grand Salon, at midnight the festivities moved to the Grill Room for dancing! Entertainments like this were something CGT did so well! Some slight dirt to cover.
