Product Description
19th-century White Star Line memorabilia is tough to source. Anything from the first RMS Britannic is even tougher. Just think of the world of 127 years ago. It feels almost unrecognizable compared to the modern world. A lovely first-class dinner menu from 4 May, 1897. It comes from an era where White Star has not yet seemed to have determined “most luxurious liners in the world” was the way to go yet. After starting with oysters, the menu wanders through lambs-head broth, pigeon pie, and chicken & ox tongue. In excellent condition.
