When the American Line took over Inman, it also took over Inman’s china pattern; thus we see examples of the china marked “American Line” and “Inman Line.” This 1890’s pattern was used on all of their ships, including the St. Louis, St. Paul, New York, and Paris. A lovely pattern that no collection should be without.
