Huge brochure for the ss Nieuw Amsterdam covering the art on board, which was simply amazing. I’ve rarely seen for any ship, including Normandie, a more lavish brochure. Almost certainly the finest brochure Holland America Line ever produced. Rather fitting for their “Ship of State.” Runs 46 pages with far too many illustrations to list, a large number in full color, with 5 double-page fold-outs! Tied with a fancy cord. Text is in English and dates to her pre-war years. These used to be much more common. Here is an excellent condition example for your collection. In a word: Wow!
