A superb signed and numbered fine-art lithograph by maritime artist Ken Marschall of the Lusitania departing New York for the final time on May 1, 1915. This lithograph is printed on acid-free archival paper using fade-resistant inks to ensure its longevity. This fine-art lithograph is signed by four Lusitania survivors. The four survivors are:
Alice Lines Drury — First Class, 18 years
Audrey Pearl Lawson Johnston, — First Class, 3 Months
Avis Dolphin Foley — Second Class, 11 years
Edith Williams Wachtel — Third Class, 9 years
The overall size of the print is 32” x 20”, and it is in excellent condition. These are quite easy and relatively inexpensive to ship as they can be rolled in a sturdy tube.
All the signatures are guaranteed to be original. They were obtained in 1990 by a customer of mine when he met the survivors.
