Product Description
“Placing Tourist Travel on a Pedestal.” The newly formed Italian Line produced this brochure in 1933, the deepest part of the depression. Thus, like all lines, they were heavily pushing their second-class service. In this case, the pitch was: “Italia really cuts your travel dollars into a bigger spread.” Runs 20 pages and filled with 40 great images of the ships plus life on board. Covers the Conte di Savoia, Augustus, Roma, Conte Grande, Rex, Vulcania, and Saturnia. Each ship gets a blurb with loads of information. In excellent condition.
