Product Description
Boy, did the Germans do great on-board souvenirs! Easily one of the most impressive souvenir spoons I have ever seen for the Imperator (or any ship for that matter!). Measuring nearly 5.5″ in length, the bowl of the spoon has a portrait of the liner with the handle being topped by a life ring with the ship’s name. On the back of the bowl is a raised ship’s wheel. The spoon is in great condition although there is a chip in the enamel of the bowl that you have to look for because it is in the sky and somewhat blends in. There is also the tiniest bit of enamel loss on the handle under the name HAPAG. Hallmarked and sterling.
