The Empress of Australia was built for HAPAG as the Admiral von Tirpitz but wound up in the Canadian Pacific fleet after WWI. In 1934, she mounted a 21-country, 25-port, 69-day entire Mediterranean cruise that covered over 15,000 miles. This is the brochure for that cruise. Sporting 9 fantastic images of the ship, her interiors, and life on board. Of course, all the ports are covered too. Ah, to see the Med before WWII! It conjures up images of Casablanca and Humphrey Bogart. In very good condition.
