Product Description
Five passenger lists and a gala night menu from a round trip crossing in 1968. These passenger lists and menu plus a lot of other items came from the same family that took a round trip on Canadian Pacific in 1968. There are three lists for the trip over to Liverpool on June 28th, 1968 via the ss Empress of Canada. Two lists are for the return trip August 14th 1968 on board the Empress of England. The gala menu is August 17th 1968 on the ss Empress of England. It has some bumped corners.
The back of the menu states
“The rich nobleman of the 15th century held feasts of unparalleled lavishness, sparring no pains to provide his guests with the rarest delicacies. Note here the cuttlefish garnished with snails and the dish of lamprey : – two of the very few items you will not find on Canadian Pacific menus.”
