Product Description
A while back, I bought a collection of furniture from the Mary (which will eventually make its way to Luxury Liner Row), and with it came a few additional items. This bedspread was purchased with the furniture at the sales in the 1970s. The grandparents of the woman I bought this from had taken their honeymoon on the Mary in 1956 and sailed second class. They bought a large number of second-class pieces as mementos of their time on board. It’s a lovely story and shows the affection passengers had for the QM. Bedspread measures about 78″ x 36″ and has no holes or tears. “Cunard Line” is woven in on two edges in large letters.
