Here is a rarity for one of you. The bedspread from the Executive Officer’s cabin on the ss United States. It is in excellent condition with no holes or tears, and it has just been dry cleaned. The measurements are about 74″ x 93″.

Isn’t it attractive? Crew linens are just unheard of from any famous liner, and the ss United States is no exception.

There were a pair of these so the XO’s linens could be changed, but I know where the other one is, and it isn’t likely to ever come on the market. So this makes a one-of-a-kind opportunity for your collection. Commodore Alexanderson probably slept under this when he was Executive Officer on board.
