I think it’s safe to say that this is the best brochure ever done for the second Mauretania. Dating from the time of her maiden voyage, this brochure runs 24 pages with each photo covering a full page and all of the illustrated art in full color. There is a fantastic color foldout of the new ship on the first page. All three classes are shown, including cabins and public rooms. In my opinion, Mauretania was the high-water-mark of Cunard’s art deco design. Her interiors incorporate all the lessons learned on the Queen Mary but have none of the softer deco look used on the Queen Elizabeth. Tied with a ribbon and sporting an embossed cover. In good condition with wear to the spine and bumped corners and foxing on the cover.
